When using loose leaf herbal teas, people often ask me how to make the best cuppa?
Simply. Your Nan knew best! Warm the pot and use a tea cosy.
We create our teas with minimal chopping and processing so the herbs are not over-handled. Loose tea makes a better drink than teabags, as bags in a mug cool down rapidly and you will not extract all the nourishment out of the herbs. With our loose tea you can enjoy your first cup and then top up with more water for extra delicious extra cups.
HOW TO BREW THE BEST CUPPA?

- Use 1 teaspoon of herbs per person for a medium size mug (250 mls water).
- Warm the teapot.
- Add the delicious herbs to the pot.
- Add boiling water.
- Snuggle in a cosy and brew for at least 10 minutes.
- Pour using a fine-mesh strainer.
- Top up with more water for a second or third cup.
You may get some of the herb particles in the cup and these are perfectly fine to consume for extra goodness.
